Spoke to OPC about warranty extension this morning. They told me there was a bulletin out on Monday about no charge for 111 check on warranty extensions. Brilliant timing!

You won’t get anything like your asking price from an OPC so wouldn’t waste any time. Their offers are generally derisory due to the huge markups they need. Yes they advertise wanting cars but at their prices so they can generate profits.

More than likely an extremely valid point?

I think that you should be able to get £35,000 from an independent dealer without too much trouble. I would suggest putting it on Autotrader at £39,000 and see how you get on

As an ex-911 owner, I can confirm that OPC will absolutely low ball unless they have a desperate need for the car (buyer waiting). They offered £36k for my last 911, then I listed at £49k and sold privately within 4 days for £47k.

I doubt it's any different for Macans. The market is very buoyant right now. I think you'll find a private sale fairly easily.

My local OPC gave me an insulting offer for my GTS which was 7k below We Buy Any Car and way less than I got by selling to the trade. I told them very clearly what I thought of their offer and they have more than likely lost the next sale to me.
