I just seem to like colours that most don't, like my Misano RS6.
Now, if the owner of the Lava orange 991.2 GTS on here decided he wanted to sell at a reasonable price, that would sort my problems out, parents would have to Uber around :D
Chunky!

I'm trying to think who has the Lava orange car here

IMHO it's only in a drag race that the Turbo out performs the GTS. On the road, the GTS suspension will win out. Presumably if you're not worried about warranty you could have a GTS remapped to match the Turbo output as it's basically the same engine.
I may have to have a good read up on the GTS then. I'd like to keep the warranty up for the first couple of years at least. Theres a specialist not far from where I work "Ramus Porsche" and they use DMS for tuning. Not met anyone who's used Ramus Porsche but the car park is always full of cars, some stunners there normally too.

Bl**dy ‘ell, the RS lot get everywhere!

Nice choice of colours Chunk, big difference between the 2 cars though. Have you had a chance to test drive either?

The DMS site next to Ramus is an independent set up btw.
I know they’ve converted a couple of Gen 1 Macan’s with the updated Gen 2 rear end.

Max? As in, Max???

How are you mate? Hope the family is well.

Unfortunately not had chance to test drive either yet. Had a go in a 2.5 Boxter GTS many months ago when that's where we were heading at the time, they didn't have a 991.2.
At one point, Porsche Wolverhampton weren't letting you test drive anything unless you put a £1k non refundable deposit down and Porsche Solihull were really unhelpful. I did send the sales man at Wolverhampton an email on Friday night to see if they had a Gen2 Macan in to test, will wait and see if anything comes of it.

From what I've been told, I'd love driving either 911 or Macan. Just need something with enough push to TRY and cover what the RS gave.

Typical I decide to sell and buy during this crazy time

Cheers for all the replies so far

Yeah, but just trying to get as close as I can. Mind you, I haven't driven a car since last July, only my works van so anything will probably feel quick to me.

The Boxter gts that we test drove was pretty quick, but just didn't have that torque thrust.

Father-in-law was Alfa crazy when I started going out with the wife (20 years ago) and his cars were ALWAYS in the dealers getting repaired. He would change them every year cause he very rarely had them on his drive, and the next model was the same! He lasted about another 10 years, then I managed to talk him out of them.

They are stunning lookers, but I'd want it on my drive to look at and not at the dealers.
