Hi,

I am currently waiting patiently for my MY21 GTS to be built, deposit has been paid, but I have until the end of Feb to play with options.

I've currently gone for the 21" RS Spyder Design wheels, but do intend to take the car to France on ski holidays once or twice a year so need a second set of alloys to put winter tyres on. Personally I'm not a fan of black wheels, so I'm looking for a second-hand set of silver 20" alloys to serve this purpose.

Thanks in advance to anyone who is looking to sell.

Sam

18 or 19’s will give you better winter performance and cost you less. Maybe not look so good but that’s no help if you get stuck.

Snow chains are possibly only recommended on 18" and 19" wheels...

And I'm pretty sure it's a legal requirement in France to have them, at least in the mountains, shame as the 20s look great.

OP I wouldn't limit yourself to non black, you've just got to take what you can second hand (and potentially refurb later) as the second hand market is so limited.

Konig K-Summit XXL K66 snow chains will fit the 20" wheels.

You do see them come up on here every so often, I bought my 20” diamond cut spiders on here last year with new Dunlop 4D NO rated tyres for half the OPC price.
June 2017 Macan GTS in Carmine red with 21” gloss black sport classics, GTS leather package, Air, PASM, PDLS+, pano roof, Sports Chrono, 18 way seats, BOSE, surround view, heated seats front and rear, carbon side blades and carbon interior package.

I still have this brand new set of 18inch wheels up in my loft if you decide on smaller wheels?

Hi all,

Thanks for your thoughts - I’m certainly not against smaller wheels but in discussions with the sales exec at Porsche he said I could only go down one size (i.e. 21 to 20) which I confess I didn’t question at the time. I understand there’s a setting to tell the car the wheel size, could anyone confirm whether this option lists all possible wheel sizes?

Thanks
