Yes left reverse camera off on the basis that you have sensors at front and back don’t you that beep away as get close to things. Thought I could live without it and save a few quid.

Thoroughly recommend:
#reversing camera
#smokers pack [to cover the hole]
I would ditch the Heated multifunction GT sports steering wheel, unless you live in a very cold part of the UK, to cover the cost.

The beeping system leaves quite a wide margin; for example, if I relied on it to enter my garage I never would enter it. Certainly, if a lot of close manoeuvring done surround-view worthwhile.

I missed off smokers back and like MM use it for storage; in my case, a black lense cloth and have no regrets about not having it.

However, overall I thought you had a sensible sporty GTS spec

Very close to my spec there.
I didn't spec sport chrono as I've had it on 3 cars and never used it.
I would only take off the pan roof if i had optioned the pebble and grey interior which I think look's great.
Similarly I wasn't going to have a camera as I always find sensors more than adequate but have went with the perceived wisdom on here.

Thanks guys, quite fancy the gt steering wheel but may drop sport chrono. I’m not wanting to use launch control or time myself do does sport chrono do anything else? I actually don’t like the dial on the steering wheel.
Re tailpipes is it an option to have polished chrome instead?
Re the roof the dealer thinks you get the cost of the roof back at trade in so may spec that as a lot seem to think it’s an essential. I’m hoping lockdown lifts before my spec locks down so I can go and view a few cars at the centre. I did get a video sent to me of the gts sports exhaust on and it sounds pretty good so happy with that!

Not sure about perceived wisdom on here, there are a lot of personal opinions, some very strong indeed. Bottom line, take it all in and then do what you want. But whatever you do, if it’s a GTS don’t drop the Standard black spyders, black interior, heated SPORTS steering wheel and never-never move away from the black accents. Not that I have a strong opinion 🙄
P.S just saw your last post and the sports exhaust is actually better than my previous non GPF Turbo 👍

Yep definitely keeping the black spyders as they are free, also going black extended leather, and not alcantara as I prefer it. Got Alcantara on my other car which I do like but prefer leather. Plenty of time to change my mind I think as assume they don’t lock down until a few months before delivery

Sport chrono lets you access Sport more easily, instead of reaching across to press the button on the far bank. It also gives you Sport+ and the ability to configure your own Individual set of preferences. The button in the middle of the dial gives an overboost for rapid overtaking etc. You also get the dial in the centre if the dash top with a clock that passengers can also see. Chrome tailpipe look good with chrome window trim etc. Not so with the all black accents on the GTS. Here's how it looked on my previous SD:

Thanks, so re sport chrono the performance of the car is the same if you press the sport button or presumably push the gear lever across to the left?
Is the gts only available with black trim around the windows or is this a no cost option to go chrome/aluminium?

Yes, thankfully the GTS does not have a chrome/aluminium option, although anything is possible from Porsche. Here is the heated sports steering wheel with SC
