They contact you to validate the listing; it then goes into a daily ‘auction’ where their clients bid . You get notified of the final price which you can accept (your details are then passed to the buyer to arrange collection and payment direct with you.), or you can decline if you don’t like the price. No fees, no commitment to sell
Agree with above, I sold my Fpace to a Jag dealer via motorway - really easy and when notified of price offered I spoke to the dealer who were happy to collect 10 days later as I was going away. It took me about 20 minutes to fill out the form and take a few pics on my phone BTW…

Fair enough. Thanks. The other one I heard about was Wizzle. Both seem better than WBAC as far as I can tell. I think I need to wait until nearer the time.

From recollection there was less scope for additional photos and space to describe optional extras - o if you have a heavily spec'd car its in danger of being viewed as a standard car, or one with a few extras. I didnt find much difference between WBAC and Wizzle, but market forces/stock will dictate how they bid

Looks like values have dropped a bit so £35k is probably more realistic now. I have uploaded some picture taken yesterday.

I sold my car on Autotrader last month - the WBAC price was £53k, the cheapest (like for like) on Autotrader was £57k, I put it on AT for £56k and it went for £55k (after a lot of calls and a bit of haggling)

Thanks. I was toying with putting it on Autotrader. How long did it take to sell? I need to put it on early enough to sell but not so early that I don’t have a car to drive.

It took about 2 weeks. I wanted £55 and whilst the phone kept ringing I kept hanging out for he £55 and eventually got it. All the calls were from dealers and all the dealers check AT every morning.
