An potential buyers hovering?.

I have just received an offer from a dealer of £64.500 which I am contemplating, offer has a validity of 7 days which includes uplift and they want to do the oil and 2 year service.
So that’s around 20% depreciation in just under 2 years on a new car which is really good. I reckon they’ve given you a strong offer given that they are going to carry out the 2 year service.
+1. Clearly a very well cared for Macan! GLWS! 👍
Certainly was!, hope the next owner does the same. Not much of us give our cars runners

Yeah its good the way you have set it out, and you are bang on the money with the 20%, I will most likely push the button this afternoon although I have the 7 days. I will inform all

I would wait the full period, some folks only come on here sporadically and you may get a better offer. I reckon if someone offers you say, £66k that would be a great deal for you and them. No warranty concern because one year left on new car warranty, then seamless transfer to extended… win- win 👍

Have you tried the big trade purchasers like Motorway?

I sold our last car in Oct. to Cazoo. Their price was way better than the main dealers and all the others.

I was thinking of trading in a Mercedes GLA 35, 17months old with 6000 miles, 30% depreciation!
Like Jon A said, it’s maybe worth waiting a few days to see if anyone comes in with an offer of a private sale, although I would imagine you would be looking for north of £66k taking the service into account and the potential hassle of a private sale?

I was thinking the same Jon. No risk with a win for me and a win for them without dealers mark up... :D

I'm more than happy to put the car through its 2 year service if the offer is right. As you say, I also have the risk of the private deal which is daunting at this money

Your garage is pretty tight and very tidy. Will any car bigger than the Macan fit in it?

Yeah, it opens up as you enter, the door is the limiting factor. Macan drives in with mirrors out ...
