FYI, part-exchanged my 2 months old SD,2k mileage, value 56k for 50k at dealership (worst case scenario) beginning of October.
...but that was against a used Panamera so many more variables........
True you could think that but in that case he would not move on the panny price (i tried) as he thought it was perfectly priced and i agree it was fair value. Also he called several brokers in front of me and 50k was best he got and offered me. The book he used to check car value (I'm sure you are familiar with it as you ran a dealership) was originally 48.5k. But maybe all this was salesmanship ;)

Surely any OPC/dealership builds in a bit of 'negotiation' into the asking price for a pre-owned car, even Porsche...!?
Not that I have noticed. They tend to stick to the price but sometimes give a bit in other areas, unless you really have them over a barrel (ie end of quarter period, they must make the sale, you in the right place at the right time (and know it!).
Got a car on Tootle at the moment; didn't realise that the traders can see what other people have offered (or at least whether or not they are 'winning' the bidding). Makes it quite competitive!!
