Hi all,

Spent a lot of time lurking over the past couple of years, hence why this is such a good spec GTS. Unfortunately only selling as we are getting a dog and part of that agreement was that the Macan had to go - not a car for dog slobber in my opinion! Will be sad to see it go.

Current Mileage 8440 (will go up but only slightly). Delivered July 2016. £67,092.00 on current configurator. Well looked after and garaged since ownership.

+1. Looks a great GTS with a nice spec. No interior would be completely dog-proof, but the Macan interior should be no harder to clean than many. A number of Macan owners have dogs. Would seem a shame to get rid of such a nice car for such a reason 🐶 not to mention the financial cost of depreciation. :geek:

One of the main reasons I bought the Macan was because I had dogs!

Same here, woof woof! 🐶

Dmeg just needs to find good boot or seat covers. There are many choices. 😃
Our stable:
- 992 Carrera T - manual - Ruby Star Neo - Carrera Excl. wheels (2023)
- BMW 240i xDrive (G42) - Portimao Blue - AC Schnitzer tune
ex: 981 Cayman GTS, Macan S Diesl, Macan Turbo, 991.2 Carrera S, 718 Cayman GTS, i30 N, 718 Cayman GTS 4.0

Or do as me, there is no way the dog is getting near my Macan so I bought an older Polo for the dog trips and car parks. Gives me all the options.

Even if you do use the Macan for a dog get a decent dog guard and a Hatchbag boot liner and it’s job done.

I have one of these.
COFIT Black Anti Slip Dog Seat Cover with Seat Anchors- Hammock Style https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06Y625L33/ ... dAbZ1EN7EN

I think it works well. Straps and materials are sturdy and it is easy to fit and remove.

I also chose a Macan for it's dog capacity but use this cover in the dog car (Suzuki s-cross). It would work in the Macan too, but the dog goes in the boot in the Macan.

P.S. Dog capacity was not the only reason for choosing a Macan!😁😁

Thanks all. Unfortunately (fortunately) we also have 2 young children which means it's all getting a little too tight, especially with a pram in the boot which we will have for a while - looking for something bigger.

I've had cars before which have had previous owners with dogs and the tell tale traces always remain - scratched paintwork, chewed leather etc.
