Hope all goes well + will be interesting to see if you'll consider coming back with us Porsche guys in a couple of years!
Thanks Caster. I have no doubt that I’ll be back in the Porsche brand at some point. It’s a very compelling proposition. The 911 will have to wait a while until our son is older, but there are other things of interest in the coming years that might tempt me back.

Good luck with it and hopefully it brings you many miles of smiles. BTW I would have chosen the Alfa over the incredibly dull/wooden RS4 too despite its great engine. Big change from the Macan though!
Agree with VanB, I too would probably have chosen the Alfa over the Audi. Audi's in recent times have become a little soulless. I've driven Alfas before and they are great cars to drive and hopefully the reliability on these newer models should be much better.
Current:
992 Turbo (July 23)
MG4 EV Trophy Long Range
VW Caravelle 6.1 4motion DSG
Suzuki Swift Sport

Previous Macan SD, Macan Turbo, Macan Turbo, 991.1 C4GTS coupe, 996 C4S coupe, Macan Turbo, 991.2 C4GTS coupe; 991.2 GT3; 992 C2S; 991.1 Turbo S

Thanks Arif. You like many on here are a man of good car judgement, so appreciate the nod of approval for the Alfa! [emoji106]

I read that article on the Alfa Owners forum. You can imagine the responses to it on there! [emoji36]

I think they have about 90 QF owners regularly posting real life experiences and thankfully this isn’t typical!

I have no doubt there will be some challenging moments of ownership!

Indeed. Would be hard to warm them up at sub-20 mph going over speed bumps as on my typical London journeys!
