PTS Fashion Gray (or is it Chalk?) TPP Exclusive and ceramic brakes—you won’t see yourself coming and going in that one!
Think the colour is Crayon as this example
Previous Porsche’s
2008. 987 Boxster S Sport basalt
2012. 991 Carrera S aqua
2016. Macan Turbo volcano
2020. Macan GTS crayon (sold 04/24)
Awaiting delivery
2024. Macan GTS gentian. mid May https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PR8H7WC6
So, i succumbed in the end and could not wait any longer and almost the proud owner of a Sapphire Blue Macan Turbo PP.. sad part is cannot collect until June as i am going on holiday..
Will post pics once i collect the car in June.
a couple of questions guys.
1. Has anyone used Spotless detailing near OPC Perth and feedback please
2. And how badly damaged does the Macan get from stone chips? I have been closely following the other thread on Road rash and chip protection, but not convinced i need a PPF or atleast can't seem to justify the cost from own experience of owning cars inclusing a 991.1 C4S for a year. I do an average of 10k miles and the usage is mixed on A/B/motorways with a week to 10 day trip to Europe.
3. I have had some insurance quotes from NFU Mutual which seem to be way better than anyone else.. just nervous they would allow the use of a Porsche garage just in case there is a claim..Anyone have experience with them ?
Macan Turbo PP - Collected June 2018
LED PDLS, Pano, Air Susp, ACC, Entry & Drive, 21" Turbo 2 wheels, LDW, Heated front & rear seats, Turbo Interior Packagae, PSE
Panamera 4S (970.2) - Sold May 2018
911 C4S (991.1) - Sold May 2017
Just used Porsche Perth for the first time and it can back with a dent in the bumper/tailgate, luckily I spotted it straight away and took a picture of this and the mileage to confirm the car had not been driven since the guy dropped it off.
To be fair they agreed to fix no problem but it does p*ss me off that I am having paint work down and it’s someone else’s fault. Let’s hope the repair is flawless !
My boxster is being serviced by them next week so fingers all goes well
Our Macan insurance is with Direct Line at £560 which includes a
23yr old (need it for airport collections) but with just my wife and
I it’s £380. Just insured my X5 for £310 with LV with my wife and I only
Congrats on the purchase!
My Sapphire GTS has covered 17000 miles since sept 16, over half of those miles on the m-ways at at high (ish) speeds and I have very, very few chips on the bonnet. One noticeable “chunk” out of the plastic bumper which PPF would not have prevented.
I’m with NFU and one of my very specific questions prior to taking the policy out was to specify my choice of repairer, to which they said “of course you can!”

Thank you.. I have now managed to get that confirmed as well from NFU. ALso, i have decided not go with PPF but just Gtechniq detail on the car..not the Porsche one, but from a proper detailer.
