I'm not sure if you still visit this forum now, but if so can you tell me if this is still available.

Buy it Tony, I have one and it transfomed the car, I get 50mpg on a slow M way run and avarage 43 overall, I seldom see under 40 unless I'm just going to the shops.

James
James' hugely positive experience is very similar to mine.

Hi James, I have the TDI tuning box too, but find that after a motorway drive once the car has been turned off and then on again say an hour later, the throttle lag comes back when pulling off. Have you experienced this at all?

Thanks buddy, I have tried this and it does work, also disconnecting the tuning box for a few seconds had the same effect.
It’s just a bit of a pain that in need to do this so often.

I’m just wondering if maybe there is something wrong with my car.

I’m really trying to identify if anyone else is experienced this?

I find that the "lag" is caused by the gearbox being in too high a gear and the car is off boost. For example when the turn off a road into a another road you expect the car to be in 2nd but it is actually in 3rd gear. Only solution i found is to drive in sports mode!
