unless you’re getting a good wedge off the 911 then the dealer is taking the p1ss....!

Nothing off the 911 and am of the view that it’s the latter...... and it’s not a poverty spec GTS..... it was £67k when new.....

Am positive if you ring around a few OPCs, you’d get a better overall ‘cost to change’.

Yes good idea - as Simon says I'm sure you can get a better offer. Try - michael.betts@jct600.co.uk (Porsche Leeds buyer) or jamesporter@sytner.co.uk (Sytner Porsche buyer) or oliver.dixon@porschebolton.co.uk

Thats a crazy trade in price against a car worth over 100K.
The lowest Macan GTS currently on AT is 38850 with nearly 70000 more miles that Yours,

I purchased a GTS privately 3 months ago with 5K on the clock, Dec 16 car,15 k of options & I paid £55K which I was very pleased with,as new condition with 9 months Warranty & as some say I met the owner & was very happy with the cars Life !.

There are Private buyers out there but few & far between, most like peace of mind with dealer facilities, I just wanted a good deal with no Dealer large mark ups..

I sold an RS4 last year & offered Finance on my add through a Third party, I certainly had more calls & the Buyer Purchased through the Finance which was a first for me as a Seller.

best of luck with upgrading to a 992..

That's interesting. Did you have a particular affiliation with a specific finance house or is this a method, and source of finance, that other private sellers could also offer? Lack of finance facilities is a big perceived obstacle to private sales (whereas, in practice, it is usually easily overcome by the buyer finding his/her own finance sources, often at attractive rates). But the ability to 'offer' finance facilities could be significant - hence my interest in what you arranged, and who you did it with!

Hi James,

Oracle Finance was the company the Buyer of my RS4 used, it was a funny process I have never experienced before, I would certainly go the same route again if it was required.
The Buyer came up to look at the Car, happy with the deal then left a very small deposit, he said he was financing the car.
Following that the Finance company contacted me asked for all car details, V5,all service records, proof of my purchase etc, I had to email them photos of the car etc.
Then I had to send then ID, passport etc.
after 2 weeks they transfer the full amount to me & I posted them the V5 , the new buyer came & collected a few days later.
Funny but it worked well, the buyer had a good private purchase on Finance.
