Wanted - Grey or White GTS

Hi all.

My search for the ideal car for myself, wife and dog to drive down to France and back a couple of times a year has led me to the Macan GTS. We’ve done it in my wife’s diesel Evoque (too slow) and my 991.1 CS (too cramped if I’m being honest). My preferred solution of having my wife fly and the dog and I travel in my 911 was vetoed so sadly the 911 had to go.

What I do like about her Evoque is the amount of kit it has so would like similar from the Macan. Looking for a high spec to ideally include the following:

Grey or possibly white.
Pan Roof
LCA
ACC
PDSL+
BOSE or Burr
SC
2016 or 2017
Under 20k miles

If you’re a current seller that is looking to improve (a bit) on the best dealer or px offer you were going to accept anyway then please get in touch. (I’ve already contacted the existing seller on this thread whose GTS looks suitable).

I’m in no particular rush so even if you’re not changing your GTS for a couple of months that could also work. Let me know the details and let’s start a conversation.

Thanks for reading.

Hello Deucedeuce, I cannot offer any help with looking for a Macan GTS. But I am curious to know what breed you carried in your 911 please? [emoji851]

PCGB does have a for sale section; Autotrader obviously a good place to look and eBay a surprisingly good source

Great choice though - I've just done 6 hours spirited driving in my recently-purchased GTS and I'm super impressed with it. I found it very hard to find the spec I wanted

If you'll forgive me I'd like to rewrite this sentence:

My preferred solution of having my wife fly and the dog and I travel in my 911 was vetoed so sadly the wife had to go :-)

Thanks, Madelvic.

Not thought about eBay. My general buying/selling experiences on eBay have been mixed to say the least so surprised to hear it might be a good place to find a decent Porsche.

Thank you, he looks very comfy!
I plan to carry a medium sized labrador at the back, at times. 😃

Bit of an update and thread bump.

We did end up buying a high spec white GTS privately and took it to the south of France earlier this year. The car was great and a terrific time was had by all.

Having decided the Macan is a good fit for what we need we went into Porsche today to test drive a new GTS and discuss options. Although it was great we’ve decided spending c£85k on a car that really only offers 10% to 15% extra tech and performance over a well spec’d gen 1 GTS or Turbo is probably not worth it but have put a deposit down just in case.

What we think is a better idea is to search for a great gen 1 with exactly the spec we want (have decided we don’t like white as much as we thought). Spec requirement is the same but now really only want grey, crayon (probably wasn’t available on a gen 1 though), silver or maybe black.

As I’m selling my GTS I have a pretty good idea of where the market is at so please don’t try to offer me your car at an unrealistic price.

Thanks all.

Hi, would you be interested in a 2018 Turbo at all in Volcano Grey? It’s just had a three year Porsche warranty to 2025 and has all the spec you were looking for….I think?
Mileage is a little higher at 35k but maybe the extended warranty helps?
Pics available if interested.
