A good example of 2017 Macan Turbo is now on sale at Porsche Cardiff.
This is my car that I part exchanged there. I bought the Turbo at 10 months old in July 2017 with one owner on the clock. I had the car for just over 2 years. It was faultless during my time with it.

Just in case anyone is looking. 8-)

Not at all. Very little in fact, £41,250 because of the mileage which they thought was on the higher side (increased from initial £40,000). The car is on just over 34,000 miles, which is not excessive for it's age and type, in my books.
Oof was also asking for it's 2nd oil service in December 2019, so I hope they did that (I had an oil change, 1st 20,000-mile service carried out in December 2017 at around 19,000 miles). And the MOT was due by 27th Sept, it's 3rd birthday.

The first owner used the car for a few journeys to France and so clocked up over 13,000 miles in 10 months. But that's what the Macans are made for. :)

Good confirmation that an OPC make up is still £8k before bargaining

They had to do the service and add a 2 year warranty of course
2017 - Macan Turbo, with most of the toys (sold)
2008 - manual 997.1 Turbo (sold)

Yes, it is a massive margin. Contrary to my previous belief, I don't think that the 24 months approved warranty comes out of OPC's pocket.
I was not happy to let such a fantastic car go for so little money, but I do not have the time to shop around and offer it elsewhere.
Time is money.

But the purpose of my post is to really just provide some history on the car. 8-)

Weirdly if I saw that car in a show room , it doesnt sell it to me as much as when I see in a forum classifieds.

To me I would much rather buy a car from the forum classfieds than an OPC. OPC you really don't know the true history, on a forum you buy the seller, you know they cherish their car and to me you can count on it being better looked after than one that is used on a dealer forecourt.

Having read yours posts Semerka, you owning the car would hold more kudos than it being on an OPCs forecourt.

I am in the market for for a Macan and just going through the classfieds here makes me want to wait for the right one here than one from a dealer.

Totally agree Sulz, trouble is private sellers on here would have put it up for £52k not the £45k that a private sale should be :)

Possibly a bit of a sweeping generalisation Adam. Out of your 157 posts 99% of them must be about car pricing.

You seem a very well balanced guy , with a chip on both shoulders

I have to say the prices on the forums have been great, MBB listed his at £32k with a 8 months of warranty too. Far cheaper than anything i have seen at an OPC or independent. The GTS listed too is priced well.

If MBBs was still available I would have bitten his hand off for it!

Yes, I suppose forum members selling their cars are a bit more accountable, they are less likely to advertise a rubbish car on the forum, you'd hope. Fingers crossed you won't be waiting too long. 8-)

I did get my replacement car from an OPC, because I wanted the 24 months Porsche approved warranty, which did prove invaluable very quickly. But even if buying privately, you can buy a warranty after an inspection, I suppose.
