To be fair, they have been pretty pragmatic about the whole thing, not pushy....unlike Mercedes a few years back when I nearly walked out whilst trying to order the car. They were more interested in shifting their stock than selling me the car I wanted.

I have been really imoressed with Porsche Silverstone so far.

If it makes it any easier, not only am I waiting, I'm waiting without a car, as I sold mine a few weeks ago.

Hopefully you got a good deal for it to sell t so early.

One of the reasons I chose to wait was to see whether I could squeeze a bit of collateral out of my current car. I can probably get by for a few weeks without a car, so I will get it on the market in a week or two.

Well, only just over a couple of weeks to go now.

I'm glad I waited for 1st September, but it's starting to drag a bit now...

Got an insurance quote from NFU yesterday, which seems quite competitive.

Pick up slot booked. Just waiting for my new reg number and the countdown can officially begin.

Any other 1st September pick ups on here?
