Any updates on factory lead times for the Macan S ?
One dealer has told me October, but the next one says late 2020 and maybe Q1 next year.
I'm not sure how this equates within the 'new' system, where (I am told) quarterly allocations to dealers have been replaced by centralised ordering - orders are fed into Porsche GB who allocate build slots on a 'first-come, first-served basis'.

I ordered an 'S' over a month ago and still do not have a build date!
I heard of 'GTS' orders proceeding and contacted my dealer. Was told they were given a few slots, but no 'S' slots and no dates. (he also said if I wanted to switch to a 'GTS' then it would be a 2021 delivery)
Will call the dealer next week for an update.
Would be interested to know if anyone has got an 'S' slot.

Ordered my GTS back in Feb and still awaiting a build date. Apparently I should find out this month and dealer thinks delivery is likely Oct/Nov although could slip into Q1 2021.

There must be quite a variation between OPCs. I ordered my GTS in early March a week or so before lockdown and it left the factory on Wednesday (8th July).

I was quoted late in the year but more likely January for a new GTS. My dealer have 4 orders ahead of me apparently.

Just placed my order on Saturday 18th July. I was told to expect a build date of November and delivery in December. The delay owing to the factory being shut down so there's a backlog of orders and social distancing in the factory slowing down production. I'll update with more info as i get it. Here's my build; http://www.porsche-code.com/PMM2XHG0

Nice.

 Have you considered the smokers pack (to cover the centre hole) and the speed limit sign recognition?

It is partly down to the dealer and allocation - I was lucky with both of my purchases last year and got them much quicker than you would normally expect
