Hi Folks,
I've just placed an order for a GTS.
looking for a wee bit of help -
I've read online that Porsche are changing the Macan for 2021, is this the case and if so is it the wrong time to order right now?
Also if anyone can help with regards to my Macan S Diesel pricing that would be good as no idea if I'm getting good value in the trade in.
Car is a Sept 2016 Macan S Diesel has done 37k and had approx £15k of extras.
Car is in excellent condition and still got the Gtech coating.
Any help/advice appreciated.
GTS ordered.

They are offering £27k.
Is there a way to find out the full spec of my current car so I can share?
I tried putting my old code in but because the model has changed it doesn't come up.
cheers

The new model Macan will be a BEV. Previously Porsche have said that they will continue to make run the current petrol Macan alongside this new electric one.
You certainly won't regret changing your SD for the 21MY GTS......apart from the lower mpg
As to value take a look at what price OPCs are selling 2016 SDs for now. If you trade it in with an OPC sub-£29k will be the best you will get. But it costs nothing to get a few other OPC quotes. Macans are in demand and SDs are a diminishing pot.
I got £33k + £1k customer loyalty bonus for my 2017 SD with 18k miles on it this spring. That's the easy way of buying selling with minimum hassle. I went the OPC route as the actual delivery date of the new GTS was / is Russian roulette.
Alternatively get offers from specialist secondhand car dealers to buy it for cash. Or advertise it on Auto trader / Pistonheads etc.
As it turned out my 25th March GTS collection was aborted because of C-19. I eventually took delivery by covered car transporter to my house on 1 June and my OPC still honoured the trade-in price and bonus. They even covered the increase in road tax from 1 April. So mustn't grumble

To add to what Steve has said above, all the information at the moment says that it will be 2022 before the electric Macan appears.

Have you tried a WBAC quote? Mine would get 'mid 25s' from local OPC, but WBAC quote is £28.5K. It's a year older that yours but only 24k miles.
If you ordered a Macan this week it will be a 2021 model so no need to worry about buying the old model. Porsche change to the next model year half way through the previous year.Neilthurso wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 8:13 am Hi Folks,
