I have ordered a new Macan Turbo in Night Blue (the same as my old one). Now having thoughts that this is too staid, and thinking of Sapphire Blue instead. I have seen one in the flesh and like the colour.
I know colour is very subjective, but am looking for some feedback as to whether Sapphire Blue is a colour that can be attractive initially, but becomes too bright/brash after a while and thus I would feel 'tired' of it. I feel this would happen with Carmine Red, for example.
Any views?
Change colour - to Sapphire Blue?
IMHO Sapphire is a great Macan colour, bright enough to look good but not that bright that you feel as though your driving round with a flashing light on the roof. There was a guy who had a Sapphire SD around here a while ago and I always thought it looked smart and not overly showy.
Now if you really want to make a statement, I actually spotted a bright yellow Turbo in my local town last week. That certainly got everybody's attention.

3+ months in and I still think it's a great colour. It gets complimented on regularly too.
The Macan colour choices are sparse, but this is one of the best ones IMHO.

Had a Sapphire SD for 9 months and a Sapphire GTS for 3 1/2 years; never tired of it and always drew compliments (especially in the sunshine)

I always regretted not ordering Sapphire on my first Macan. Didn't make that mistake again. I think it is a bit like BMW's Estoril Blue.
I had a Sapphire Blue SD for five years and never tired of it. SWMBO told me that if I really had to change my car then I had to change the colour which is one of the reasons why my GTS is Carmine Red. Mind you, six weeks in and I still think it's exactly the right colour.
