Thank you for your replies. I did speak to my OPC and they were pretty clear they wouldn't be paying for the Tariff but I can divorce from the agreement due to the relatively high spec in a vanilla colour.

I believe have an allocated build slot which was actually a cancellation. I was hard pressed yesterday about what Spec I wanted so I assume it has been locked down. The only thing I'm not 100% on is the colour. Here is my Spec:

Good that you can walk if the price is hiked and as already been said if we do see a change in duties as long as its on the island by the 31/12 No problem. Volcano is a good choice, fortunately for you it’s already locked down as we could encourage you to spend way more on additions should you have the time. 😉

Volcano Grey is a stunning colour. I was a tad worried that I was picking a boring colour but it looks fantastic both in sunshine & on dull days and often gets complementary comments. If your delivery is not until December, I assume you have a few weeks to make some changes. I’d be tempted to make the side blades also in volcano grey as there is not enough contrast between the black side blades and the grey paintwork to make them pop and they are easier to clean when painted in the body colour!

The GTS side blades come as standard with a smooth black finish. So much easier to clean than the dimpled ones on my old SD.

Just to update my comment above, took a call from my SE today advising the car is complete and awaiting shipment, suggested handover date 28/30th this month. So start to end, dependant on when build commenced say 5-8 weeks in all. (Unless of course the ship sinks 😳) interestingly also said they currently have no build slots allocated to them and the next potential deliveries not before April. Not sure if this applies to all Macan model types?

Hi Guys,

To give you an update on my order.

I ordered my Macan GTS on 05/10/2020 and I have just received a call from my dealer saying the car is at the port waiting for a ship. I should have the car first week of December. It was scheduled to be at the dealership on the 24/12/2020 which was pretty tight for the Brexit deadline. So all in all a lot quicker than I expected. I cannot wait now!

Good luck & all the best

I think you'll find that as long as it's in the hands of Porsche GB the car is officially imported. Not quite sure if that handover is as soon as the wheels touch UK soil or when Porsche GB email your OPC to say they have the car and agree a delivery date. In any event you should be OK before the Brexit deadline.
