Re the tracker - interesting opinions here. Will see what the subscription options are. I’ve used tracker.co.uk previously who are probably the best in the business and I may go with them once again.
Just check that fitting Tracker does not invalidate your warranty. Also, Tracker may not have an approved location on the Macan for their equipment. These are just my thoughts and I could well be wrong.

I've nothing against Tracker, I had it on three Mercedes but my dealer was approved by both Mercedes and Tracker to fit the system.
Ah right I see - thanks for the heads up 👍

Seems that Porsche make more of a fuss over what you use on their cars in terms of the warranty. I’ll just have to do some digging then.

Anyone know who the breakdown provider is for Porsche through their roadside assistance?

It was the AA for the RS4 and I unfortunately had a couple of punctures which they came out very quickly for. Would be happy to have them again but it’s not clear from the website who does it.

It's the AA for all of the VAG group in the UK.

They are probably fine for punctures but these days there tends to be little they can do without getting the car to a dealer.

Their software diagnosed a fault on my 992 completely wrong

Message from the dealer: car due to be on site by the end of the week or early next week. Might be getting some pictures or videos coming though then which I’ll share 😁

Collection not until March 30th but I’d love to bring it forward. Don’t really have any breathing space before then though so it’ll probably stay the same 🙃

I reckon OPCs are 'non-essential retail' - hence opening no earlier that 12 April :(

Think you're going to be right. Might delay ours if its ready earlier, just to get the full works.

Having never bought a new Porsche before, what’s typically involved on collection day?

Definitely not 😂 but I won’t mind collection from a handover bay or even a tent in the car park which I’ve heard a few OPCs are using. A full handover in April would involve masks etc anyway and I expect that to be the case until late summer at the earliest. So I don’t think it’s a case of missing out tbh.

Just sorting out the admin with them and in two minds as to whether I should ask for pre-prep snippets or wait to see it on collection day 🙈
