I’ve just ordered my GTS to replace my current S model. My spec is pretty similar to yours, I’ve decided against the keyless entry and sports chrono and stuck with the standard GTS wheels. On my current car I went for 19” wheels with all season tyres and don’t regret it, I live in deepest Lincolnshire and the country roads round here are rubbish so very low profiles tyres are not a good thing. The 18 way seats are probably the most comfortable I’ve ever travelled in. I made the final decisions after my session at Silverstone and discussion with the instructors there. If you get the option go for it.

Ah yes - that’s 3 new GTS orders going through on this forum now - nice to see 😁

My specification has now locked - http://www.porsche-code.com/PM2AUS81 for delivery by the end of March. Don’t think there’s any possibility of Silverstone between now and then but ah well 🙈

The standard GTS wheels are lovely but, as a wheel/stance freak, I felt they would look a kind of insignificant on a darker colour. As such I was weighing up the 21 inch silver spyders along with the gloss black classics. Went with the latter as I feel the nardo-ish grey shade along with dark wheels look is very much on trend and they will help emphasise the look of the red calipers. Air springs as well to smooth out the ride as much as possible.

Looked at the 18 way seats but went with the 14-way ‘comfort’ seats because I feel sports seats won’t be everyone’s cup of tea and these are apparently more versatile.

As a little design feature I chose the red model designation on the side just to match the calipers.

Other than that just heated everything (didn’t bother with rear seats as they’ll be used infrequently) and as many ‘practical’ bits and pieces as possible. Only thing I didn’t go for that’s worth it for some people is the ACC because this isn’t a long-distance cruiser so people don’t tend to miss it.

Your specification is lovely btw - just seen it on the other thread. Apart from a few bits we’re very similar 👌

Nah, that’s for hooligan hot hatch drivers 😝

Jokes aside, I’m told the standard setup is more than good enough. Plus I had B&O in my RS4 which I could hardly appreciate in the same way as e.g my B&W home cinema setup without deafening myself.

Good for cinema systems in large rooms at home, or for headphones, but not so much in a box on wheels. Just my view 🤷‍♂️

Stunning Paul 😍 So many lovely blue/red ones everywhere - makes me wish I could be bold but I’ve always been in a comfort zone of sorts.

I’ve left the sills in black as opposed to having them painted the exterior colour to enhance the contrast with the red GTS decal. Was going to have the painted no-cost option but decided that colours always look their best against a black or white backdrop.

I think it will look pretty much like this one then 👍

Wow thanks! Looks perfect - subtle but sporty 😍 I guess it’s the kind of thing that so many people resort to de-chromes to achieve because they don’t get that option from factory.

So I think we’ve got to give credit to Porsche for saying “there’s the car and now you can do what you want” in a way that the other German manufacturers just don’t. I mean I love your black on white spec - looks epic and gives the car a distinct look. And the same applies to the other examples posted on here. There is so much more beauty in individuality as opposed to having only a couple of colours and trim levels to choose from.
