I’m on the lookout for a used Macan Turbo, and it will likely be an MY17 or MY18. Firstly are electric memory seats standard or are these an optional extra?

Secondly I’ve seen one car that has “exterior package Turbo”, what does this comprise of?

Lastly are sports exhausts with the activation button on the centre console standard on the Turbo like they are on the GTS?

Any help appreciated.

18 way electric seats with memory were standard, 14 way memory seats were a no cost option.

The Turbo exterior package included 21” Turbo Design wheels, LED headlights with PDLS Plus, tinted LED taillights, SD mirrors, various body panels painted in body colour or gloss black, sports exhaust system with black tail pipes.

No, the sports exhaust was an extra cost option.

Forgot to ask, is there a reason someone would choose the 14 way memory seats over the 18 way?

Yes much smaller side bolsters on the 14 way.

Ahh, OK. Do people find the bolsters on the 18 way dig in then?

It’s frustrating (although I appreciate this is insignificant compared to what’s going on right now) not being able to go into a dealership an find all this stuff out.

You need to be ideally tall, slim and athletic to get in and over the 18-way bolsters. Also they can get "bent" and creased out of shape with ingress & exit over time.

I am neither of the three and I am finding the 18-way seats fine to enter and ultra-comfortable, best seats I have ever had in a car. Also, I do like character in car seats but 20 months on have no creases yet

Here's a photo to show the vertical extent, although I never had a problem with them:

Thanks for all the feedback, I do appreciate it. I’m tall (6’4”) but certainly not slim
