£660 is what I was quoted for Gtechnig Platinum Service done by dealer which is I admit is not a full paint correction detail,Kleynie wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 9:57 pm My Macan was ceramic coated by the dealer from new, when I bought the car at two years old I had it removed and done properly. The dealer used some unknown brand that was a bugger to remove, it was applied over the paint swirls and not prepped properly. My Gtechniq coating took 5 days and £1100 to complete, partly due to having to remove the dealer rubbish first. For £660 I doubt it gtechniq and they certainly will not prep the paintwork correctly.
Definitely worth doing at a proper detailer outfit though.
I would argue paint swirls show far more on the darker paint shades and hence with something like Crayon or Silver it may be less critical to get paint correction done.
