Thank you for both the direct advice and also the inspiration from reading everyone else’s decisions etc .

I have dwelled on this back and forth but have placed my deposit and awaiting June delivery on:

Dolomite Silver
Black gloss roof rails
Black gloss window surrounds
Black gloss door handles
Black gloss side blades
Black gloss model designation
Black 21 inch sport classic wheels
Pano roof
Garnet red seat belts
Porsche crest on headrests
Reverse Camera.
Black leather
18 way sports seats
Red dials
Brushed silver aluminium

When I was 8 years old we had to draw a picture of something we wanted to do when we were grown up. My dad still has it on his office wall at home. I drew a picture of me with a Porsche that looked like his.

Aged 41 - I have mine on the way. I’m emotional, excited, and grateful for this moment.

Welcome to the forum. Your post says a lot about what the car looks like from the outside but very little about the interior. What seats have you specified and what seat covering?

Whatever your choices, enjoy your car when it gets here.

Oh yes - good point.

Well as per standard the 18 way sport seats are more than enough for me - so gone with the black partial leather interior. Naturally with black accents on outside I have stuck to black inside.

Got a flash of red with both the seat belts and red dials I forgot about as well.

Obviously as per usual on a Turbo you have the race tex roof lining. Also stuck with the silver brushed aluminium inside as it works nicely with the dolomite.

I wanted red stitching on seats but budget (ie my wife) said no.

Test drive a GLC43 in the end - but the residuals scared me too much and so made the decision to stretch my legs and with the dealer discount this car came into range

Nice spec Damo, and as you have, I've been waiting, dwelling and reasoning (all that without a Mrs to run it by..lol) and finally got my deposit down on a GTS today, although they are still waiting to confirm build slots and if it's going to be the summer refresh - refresh or the current 2021 buttons everywhere model. The later my preferred choice. Been quoted Sept delivery.

Orion Ghia 1.6 Inj

Finally been able to come out in my Turbo today, just driven 110 miles to Aberdovey. Loved every second of it, looking forward to the drive back.
I wanted the stitching as well but the money saved has gone towards something useful.
Enjoy the car when you get it!
