I think it’s the IMG strikes at the Leipzig factory that are now causing issues. Mine has moved back 2 was, so should be completed tomorrow. Let’s wait and see what happens.

Yes, I spoke to my OPC yesterday as I was concerned about the 18-way seats - he told me it's fine, anything that was ordered before they went short of chips, have been allocated from what they already have available. Phew. So delays are indeed, down to the strikes at the plant.

My GTS expected delivery into the dealer has moved to June 11th, which is a 4 week slip. But the actual status is still to be confirmed, so could be later

Just had a call from my OPC and my GTS which was originally due in the showroom this week, has now moved back to August 20th !!!!!

Now trying to cancel my order.

The delay is due to the semi-conductor and parts shortage and I’m trying to cancel as I sold my S4 in April, as my GTS was due in May.

Your choice obviously but your signature shows you having alternative wheels to keep you going until August. Just hope for your sake that in the future you don't regret cancelling.

The list of cars in my signature are the cars I have previously owned, not what I own now. I’m currently sharing the wife’s car, so having to drop off/pick up from work every day if I need the car, which was something we were willing to live with for 4-6 weeks. But I don’t really want to continue like this for another 3 months.

I’m looking at all the options at the moment.

Our current car (Jaguar F Pace) is being sold next week. But luckily I can borrow a pool car from work if necessary. End of August seems a long way away from when I ordered in January

Got old today the issue is a fire at the seat chip manufacturer in Japan

They expect chips to be back in circulation by Aug and Sept
