New Porsche Macan GTS - 2021 Facelift
Hi guys, taking total advantage of the current market place I’m selling my 21model year Macan GTS that I collected in Dec 2020, after only covering 1900 miles I’ve decided to sell the GTS, bank the cash and order the new face lift car, does anybody have any further information on the time scale of when the new GTS would available to order and deliver? Time delay isn’t really a problem but trying to tie things up in my head. Appreciate it and the knowledge that’s available on such a great forum.

I can only state what I was told by a Porsche Dealer in Sydney Australia. Macan III to be released soon and they expect the configurator to be updated sometime in July when you should be able to lock in your order. Apparantly the Turbo will fall away, but the GTS will get the Turbo “ tune” of the engine. Deliveries/ build (unsure which) expected to be September for Australia.

Deposit paid several weeks ago, OPC indicated that they expect deliveries to commence in late Sept/Oct and get around 3 cars per month so delivery around Jan/Feb for me. Are these facts, the OPC telling the customer what they want to hear or simply good old rose tinted glasses - only time will tell. But early next year suits me and my Macan S is getting shifted as soon as possible.

It’s going to be interesting seeing what the new GTS is going to be like but also how much it is going to cost.
I’m selling my Gen1 GTS in a couple of weeks, now that I’ve finally reached the freeze point on a Gen2 GTS last week. I was keen to get a Gen2 with all the buttons; I’m sure the Gen3 with its haptics will be great as well.
I guess only time will tell whether I’ve made a ‘mistake’.... I’ve assumed that whilst the Gen3 GTS will have more power as there’s no Turbo, I can’t believe it will be the same price as the Gen2 - I’d expect it to be several £k more?
Oddly enough, the option I want but can’t have on the Gen2 that I’d expect to be there on the Gen3 is HUD (and ‘free’ emergency braking etc that you currently have to pay for ACC to get).
