So quick update…. Ordered GTS in September, delay after delay, now showing build date in October due to floods and no certainty on this either. OPC have offered me a new Turbo, in the showroom, with such a similar spec to my order, I’ve bitten the bullet and decided to take it.

I managed to get a 4-figure concession which I’m happy with, and it means I get the car this week!

I really wanted the race tex interior and wheel, but the leather is very comfortable all the same. Not a massive fan of the classic wheels, quite liked the spyders on the GTS, but not a big deal. Oh, and this one hasn’t got the ioniser

I’m not bothered about waiting until September for a ‘71’ plate, I think once they changed to six month intervals, the shine has come off that now.

I'm in the same boat as many on here - 18-way seats also part of the excessive spec!

Ordered in early Feb this year and I was expecting a Sept 1 delivery based on conversations with the dealership. In anticipation, the S3 was sold to make room for it and then the very next day received the email to state delivery had been delayed again. Luckily we have other cars to use, but nothing to fit the family as a whole on a long journey (you cannot get your teenage kids in the back of a TTS for more than about 20 mins!). It feels like there is little we can do but wait.

You have a really good spec there, race tex interior is nice although I would have passed on the steering wheel, Black classics always look good and you won’t miss the ioniser. All in all, Result
