Easy to sell most secondhand cars in the current market, but will it command the same used value given it will be judged a previous year [older] car!
Dec 27th or Jan 1st its still a 67 plate. Got it on PCP and the dealer is offering to buy it back from me for nearly £4k over the top of the bubble payment, so it doesn’t seem to have been all that problematic.

Especially as cars can sit on the docks at Emdem for up to a month ;) ;)

Just two observations:

1. If you wait 7 days your car will be a 2022 registration.
2. In around 3 years time there are going to be a number of Gen 3 Macans' up for sale probaby of 2022 vintage. It's not in your best interest competing with them with a 2021 car.
Not sure I’d give two hoots !
Consider this. 1 2022 and 1 2021 car up for sale same spec same money. Which one sells fitst? It's a rhetorical question as I already know the answer.

... and some folk would choose a two year old car with 2,500 miles over the one with 20,000, but is that wise?

Absolutely right. The registration date is the registration date, no one really cares if it’s registered October or November, so why would it matter December or January? :?

I would of thought that the car with the best colour, spec and lowest mileage would sell first not the 21 or 22 year!

I think the original question was if you had the choice of two identical cars one registered 2021, the other 2022 which one would you buy. Identical cars.

Surely you would buy the 2022 every day of the week?

Introducing vastly different mileages changes the whole question.

Just get it and enjoy it. Who cares if it’s a 2021/2022 car.
