I like the 21" GT design wheels, but I can't justify another £2.6k on them! And then you get into the debate about needing air suspension too...

My dealer is being non committal, saying possibly before the end of the year. They are expecting their 3 demo cars at the end of October.

I might have got a little carried away with the spec, but might be the last ICE family car I buy: http://www.porsche-code.com/PNASGJ56
That's a big spec. What custom colour are you going for?

Mine (Mid Sussex in Burgess Hill) said the same

Porsche never include on the road costs in the configurator price so yes you will have to add those to your final spec.

Ugh, with that cost which I was unaware of, plus the rise in cost from gen 2 I'm considering pulling the plug and waiting it out for a sensibly priced older model now.

Yeah that extra cost came as a bit of a shock to me as well ... think it was at least another £2K for mine.

Exact numbers on my Macan S (just signed off on some changes so I have the doc in front of me) :

12 months rfl £ 1,910.00
gov reg fee £ 55.00

Neither of those appear in the configurator. If you are getting finance you should also consider GAP Insurance. This is defiantly worth taking out else you could end up with a nasty bill of your car is written-off or stolen. I think that was about £650 if I remember correctly and lasts for 3 years.
