Hi All,

Just had an update from Tonbridge Porsche regarding my order that was confirmed on 23rd July this year. They currently only have 3 build slots in Q4 this year for the GTS variant. My order is 10th out of 30 so they reckon it will be May or June next year for build and delivery, but they are hopeful this will be pulled forward.

They also mentioned that they hope to have a demonstration model in the showroom at end Sept - early Oct.

Cheers,

Andy

Can’t you tell them you’ll just take the demonstrator? No point them demonstrating stuff they can’t build.

They are not even sure what variant the demonstrator will be. Know more towards the end of the month hopefully

That's some wait. I placed my order a couple of weeks before you at Porsche East London and hoping for a Q1 delivery but the more I read on here the less confident I feel. Haven't heard anything concrete from OPC. May chase it up next week.

Mmm,this is a bit worrying.I placed my GTS order end of July, indicative delivery was before Christmas, now dealer hedging his bets and saying “more likely latter Q1”.🙁

Yep an "S" on the road is worth more than a "GTS" still in a German parts warehouse in separate bits or in containers from Korea/China ;) ;) ;) ;)

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder." It's a notion that's been repeated countless times throughout history. But, for such a popular line, it's interesting that we're not sure who first said it. Porsche, however, have now made it their own, and how!

Yep, the OPC originally said Nov/Dec this year for the GTS build. That was probably just to get me hooked

@PorscheMack, it would be good to get a latest view from the East London Dealer.

@Mwillia, and that's the dealer being optimistic I reckon!

One thing I'm absolutely sure of is whoever takes delivery of their car first will be a very popular Forumister for a while 😂
