Placed deposit with Glasgow in August, was originally told end of Q1 2022, just been told no chance of Q1 hopefully Q2 now and that hoping for delivery before the price increase comes into play for 2023 registration, was not a happy camper, big difference between Q2 and 2023!!! Already informed dealership there will be a huge issue over any price increase!! watch this space

Are there any known specification changes between the 2022 and 2023 models? Normally there's something to soften the blow to the increased price.
Current - Macan III GTS

Let’s have a guess as to what additional kit might become standard equipment on the ‘2023’ model... :)

I’ll go with Sport Chrono!

I'd say end of Q1 on an Aug deposit was very optimistic.
I put a deposit on it in June and car is now built but still in Leipzig according to the tracker.
Even in June sales exec said they had about 7 deposits on GTS's.

Not a big of a difference as I think you are assuming, next year's models start to be produced somewhere in Q3 of the year prior normally.

I was given the impression that the 2022 model is the last of the engined variety so if there are any changes I suspect it will certainly be existing options included. I ordered mine about 2 days after the last price increase so won’t be happy taking another for the ‘vapourware’ I currently have :D

Hello fellow Macaneers,

I'd appreciate the communities views on some spec options...

I initially chose quite a frugal spec for my GTS (Crayon, Pano, Sports Chrono, GT Wheel, Rev Camera, Privacy Glass & Gloss Elements)

My spec freeze date is early Feb and I've found myself spending a few hours on the config (as you do !) and with some input from the Mrs I've added a few options. http://www.porsche-code.com/PNWYCZ43

I paid a visit to my local OPC yesterday and they had quite a few Macans awaiting delivery with a couple of them spec'd with carbon interior trim. I really like the carbon trim option for the GTS and have also upgraded the s/wheel to racetex. The SE I spoke with yesterday recommended I consider changing the interior to the GTS/Crayon and also adding Bose as it helps with the future value. My wife is not keen on the GTS stitching and seat belts etc especially for the price and I we're not big on our music... I'd rather listen to the PSE :)

Given the price difference, I'm not overly worried if my Macan with extended leather/racetex has a lower future value than GTS interior, however, it would be interesting to hear views on these comments and should I consider BOSE ?
