Whilst they are more expensive when you eventually have to replace them from the 'horses mouths' they never ever have to as they last for ages compared to normalpads and discs. Upto 150k miles for the discs (how many Porsches have that kind of mileage) and 50k+ for the pads which only one of the 3 mechanics had ever had to change and that was only once!
I was told the same by an OPC then I said that I think you are thinking of the PCCB which last for almost ever and they agreed that that’s the ones they had been referring to. They said PSCB lasted about 30-40% longer so for me I will definitely have to change at least once during my ownership which will most likely be ten years.

You can however replace them with Porsche steel discs at a fraction of the cost.

If I were to go for 21-inch Exclusive Design Sport wheels

Jet black metallic or high gloss black ? , Can’t really tell the difference visually, Any pics or tips on this would be appreciated
I would go for the high gloss black, which is what I’ve got, as I think they’d be easier to colour match in the event of a repair. Also, as the wheels quickly became contaminated by brake dust, I don’t think you’d see much of the metallic effect 🤔😀
Well in case with GTS, PSCB should help with the brake dust I guess

Only had two road cars in the last twenty years but it wouldn’t really matter how many I could have owned as they would have had similar fuel consumption 😂😂

I was thinking more about ICE fuel availability than MPG 😊
