This is my reasoning for spec’ing the PCCB as I intend on keeping the car for a good length of time (and don’t want to have to incur the cost of replacement)
Nice. That’ll make your Macan something of a rarity. :) Rest of your spec?

Wow! Looks great! Mega spec, and not many options left unticked ;) Hopefully it’ll be a keeper :)

I still need to see a Macan in Gentian in person, the wheels at least are optioned on the West London Demo GTS that’s coming in next week (all demo GTS’s seem to be missing the GTS interior pack which I find a little strange though)

Just read a Cayenne review in Car & Driver that had the PSCB brakes and it says they make a lot of noise when wet. That may be an issue in the UK.

Quote “ The brakes squeal in wet conditions, which drew some sideways glances in parking lots.”

Not had squealing from my brakes, in wet or dry conditions. The wheels stay incredibly clean though, very pleased with that.

Had a slight squeek from mine today for about 2 mins in stop start traffic, then it was fine after that. Only time I've noticed any noise from them since I've had it.

I've had an occasional squeal too but not for long, so the PSCB can't take the blame ;)

No mention of the cost of the pads. I suspect that the pads will not be standard or they would wear faster against a PSCB disc.

You may be right that they are different but why would standard pads wear faster?

They’d barely wear at all as the discs are too smooth. The pads for the PSCB’s are Uber abrasive to gain any purchase on such a smooth and hard surface.
