Sports Exhaust, or not

I had a similarly well crafted fuel cap on the Aston. Granted I probably had to open that more regularly than will likely be the case with the Macan, but to me it's one of those nice little touches that make you feel good about a car.

Terrible specOld Chimer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 8:20 am Thanks all. Threw in a few extra trinkets and ended up with Porsche Code: http://www.porsche-code.com/PNHK9BS1
You have missed the single best option ….. heated steering wheel.
Include that and imo you then have a pretty perfect spec.

Roughly £120 for a full tank at today’s prices if you have upgraded to 75 litre fuel tank and fill up at shell/bp.

Never really seen much point in a heated wheel. The car will be kept in a garage and we live on the South coast rather than the frozen NorthCol Lamb wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 1:12 pmTerrible specOld Chimer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 8:20 am Thanks all. It is the nicer sounding Audi engine but can be made even better with sports exhaustOmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 5:18 pmTotally agree.pmg wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 5:13 pmTwo very wise decisions in my opinionOld Chimer wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 4:47 pm Sorted. PSE doesn't make anything like as much difference as I'd imagined so I've ditched it. The side blades will however, imho, look much better in the body colour than the 3D effect. They look okay on black or volcano grey, but not for me on the blue.
I will say the new 2.9 engine sounds generally sportier and louder than the 3ltr anyway (based on minimal test drives of both), so I think that makes the difference between PSE and standard a bit smaller on the Gen 3's

I had PSE and Porsche filler cap on my 2019 Macan S gen2
IMHO, standard exhaust is sub-optimal, the PSE should be the standard.
The filler cap on the other hand was nice, and totally unnecessary.
