Wheels look great on your car Highflyer99!!!

But I just couldnt peel my eyes away from how close it appears the rear of the car is to that wall!

Photo might be deceiving but parking sensors hopefully worked.

When I went on my PEC day in 2015, the instructor told me that in his opinion the best ride and handling on the Macan came with 18" wheels but most people ordered larger wheels because they looked better. With the difference in sidewall height between 18" and 21" wheels being 11⁄2" it's not surprising the ride was softer on 18" wheels. The difference between 20" and 21" is less marked so these days it's all about how the wheels look to the buyer. There's no question that Porsche see optional wheels as an exceptionally good earner but whether they represent value for money is an entirely different discussion.

I do think it is sad that probably due to pressure of restricting the number of options to go through WLTP, the ability to have 18 or 19 on a new build has gone apart from the base. The 18 or 19 sets are narrower and this has many bad weather advantages. My preferred wheel tyre choice for the southern half of the UK would be 19's with a modern snowflake standard all season but unfortunately, Porsche has not given one N approval yet

Though I will have air and pasm so ride quality is also great
The 20s on the S that come standard look ok’ish if you wanna save ££
No about money saving , Cotswold roads ! Price to pay for living in the sticks :D
Amen to that. Would love 21” Spyders for £1400 but roads not really up to it around me. Our X3 on 19s is just about OK over potholes/sinking drains that we occasionally can’t see or avoid.

Col's advice is sound. The only problem is in the current climate the chances of you finding a demonstrator with basic 8-way seats is somewhere between zero and non-existent.
Stick with standard wheels and upgrade the seats maybe, plenty of time as I’m looking at a may/June build date if I’m lucky!
Easier to buy new wheels than seats too!

I am not having air suspension, Barely do 5000 miles a year and coming from an rs3 I’ll be fine feeling the bumps!

Keeping it quite standard so far

Looks like The 21 GTs in black are currently unavailable as they have been removed from the confusarator so that’ll make my decision easy if it stays that way!

Wheels can make or break the look of the car - if you are keeping it for a while then have what you really want - it will add up to next to nothing over time !

I specced those same 21 inch RS Design wheels on my build too but have noticed they've now been removed from the configurator! I'm not a fan of the other alloy options, so I'm at a road block now. Hoping this is just a temporary glitch and not a permanent decision from Porsche..

Do you mean the 21’ GT wheels? The RS ones are still there,it’s the GT wheels that have been removed.👍
