Interesting. My gear selector in the Macan has deteriorated (the OPC says the chrome is peeling off) and I've been told it's only £799.01 to replace it. Apparently my extended warranty doesn't cover "trim items" and the gear selector is apparently deemed to be a "trim item".
They doing mine under warranty!

So they should, sounds like you've had half the car replaced already.

I've always understood Warranty to be provided by the manufacturer for the first 3 years. Extended as an insurance based solution which is claimed by the OPC from whoever is the underwriter. This is why the claim is treated differently.

Right, the clock is ticking ever nearer. Took things on board so thanks.

Notably, the standard wheel is multifunctional so no need to pay the extra for the carbon to get the multifunctional wheel. Upgraded brakes and lights are to stay or add as is the spare wheel which was an accidental omission.

Again the configurator is very vague and misleading at times.

So it’s here (some may have seen on other threads), picked up on Saturday morning. Dropped off at the retailers yesterday.

He’s found several issues where they’ve tried to sand the paint work back in the factory (car wasn’t touched at OPC). More annoyingly scratches on the left hand headlight lens. I noticed this at handover thankfully.

Anyway photo below and more to follow.
