Your GT4 looks awesome. Am sure you’ll be sad to see it go.
Yep, due to shortages or whatever, the GT wheel is in short supply and can’t currently be specced on a 2.0 or an S.
Cheers,
Macan S – GT4 Replacement

When have they told you your S will be here, personally I think if you want it for August you will be very lucky. Good luck though, the GT4 looks great.

The OPC said they will "make it happen" for August. So who knows what that means.
I really don't want to get rid of the GT4. I wish I could keep it.
I have a Silverstone Experience in a few weeks so I can play with all the toys.

As with virtually all their Optional extras Porsche prices are ridiculously high and no doubt mostly not worth it however, I've spec'd Bose as it completes the "perceived" level of equipment a £75k+ car SHOULD have as standard. Frankly whether it's any better than the Standard system is almost irrevelent as I will always tell myself it is..louiscronin wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 2:23 pm Thanks for all the feedback guys. Very friendly forum.
My OPC said a Macan GTS will be 2023 and I need the extra seat for August 2022, otherwise I would have gone for one.
Bose – Is it really that poor? I've added it to all my build before but when you've got a flat 6 behind you, I've never been able to tell if Bose sounds that good or not.
Self Park – The Mrs has made me tick this box. I will see if I can get into a demo car and test it for myself. You're right though, with the 360 view, it might not be worth it.
HomeLink – I've been using the function to open the gates and garage door via CarPlay so far which is fine, I just wanted to get rid of the fob on my keyring. I've never bothered ticking this option before.

Welcome to the forum!
Loving the GT4 - great pics. I recognise a few of those locations after doing the NC500 last summer
I’ve heard that the standard black paint is quite easy to mark - you may want to consider the jet black metallic (that’s the fastest colour, apparently )
The GT heated steering wheel is lovely - slightly smaller diameter I think over standard wheel.
A 75l tank will keep you away from the petrol stations for just a little bit longer (£84)
The power steering plus (£185) is pretty good for low speed parking manoeuvres (it can be disabled by your OPC if you don’t like it).
You’ll get a variety of opinions on the forum of the merits of 14-way versus 18-way seats… hopefully you’ll be able to try before you buy at your Silverstone experience (that reminds me, I’m still waiting for my invite…). I found the 18-way seats in my turbo are more comfortable than the 18-way seats in my previous 992, so worth checking.
Lane Change Assist (£413) was one of the options missed off my car spec and I liked it… really should be standard but that’s Porsche for you!
Likewise… if you’re going to be carrying passengers how about the rear side airbags (£287)?
As others have mentioned the home link system doesn’t get great reviews - save yourself the £203.
Good luck with the order and let us know how you get on at Silverstone!

Looks like you have the carbon buckets in the GT4, so by contrast, the 18-ways should be a cinch to get in and out of.

I wonder if you “drop into them” on the GT4 as opposed to “climbing over them” in the Macan?Wing Commander wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 4:47 pm Looks like you have the carbon buckets in the GT4, so by contrast, the 18-ways should be a cinch to get in and out of.
I found the thigh bolsters just got in the way but great when in
