Delivery Lead Times
This has been covered a fair bit recently but as they seem to vary by individual experience and OPC has anyone recently ordered a GTS and what sort of delivery estimate have you been given? Looking to replace my MY21 GTS with the new model and was told yesterday early 2024 for delivery. Even with all the current issues that seems a stretch.

Don't think this is uncommon as others have stated 18 month lead time on a GTS

When I was in the dealers yesterday I was told that a new order from Edinburgh OPC for a Macan GTS was estimating for Q1 2024.

Yes at my local OPC they have a huge backlog of GTS orders, they are also quoting Q1 2024 as well.

S and GTS lead times probably differ for a number of reasons

My SE said Porsche need to maintain residuals so manage demand by throttling production for certain models at certain times. It means that the OPCs can recycle a car two or three times over a ten year period and earn a fair packet. They also prefer second hand to new since the margin is unrestricted and more people to sell to.PorscheMack wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 9:19 am S and GTS lead times probably differ for a number of reasons

Yep. Historically GTS lead times have been longer than for an S/SD, with the 2.0 generally having the shortest lead times. Makes me wonder why they don’t just build more of the more expensive/profitable models, but clearly Porsche know what they’re doing, judging by their highly successful (though sometimes controversial) business model.PorscheMack wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 9:19 am S and GTS lead times probably differ for a number of reasons
