Isn’t that only if PSE is fitted (Porsche Sport Exhaust option)?

The one thing that did surprise me when out on the test drive is that the handbrake isn't applied automatically when you switch off the engine , you have to press the button and press it again to release it ?? On my C class it releases and engages automatically and if the engine is off and the selector in "N" it will apply the handbrake as soon as you open the drivers door. Going to miss this.

I still quite often forget to put it on, the car reminds you to put the transmission into "Park" though. When moving off the accelerator will override it, although sometimes a message "Release parking brake" pops up. Not memorized the why/how, obviously!

Parking brake is “manual” on but “automatic” off when you move away.
