I’m just going to comment on the model designation in silver on the side blades; with black script on the rear that might stand out more than it looks on the configurator. I’m not sure what comes as standard but we have black on black on our T sideblades and it is visible; subtle but I think that works better. Depends how much you want it to stand out of course; I’d quite happily have deleted it entirely but my wife wanted it 😄
My logic for this was black on black is a little pointless, silver at least pops a little. I did originally choose the body coloured option which put black on crayon which stood out even more.
I can see the logic. Black on black isn’t as pointless as it might appear though. I do think Crayon suits black side blades because you get a nice contrast, to go with the rear spoiler.

Usually the cost to enable features after-the-fact is slightly more than speccing it at build.

Just for consideration

Firstly, congratulations on your early build slot👍 Really nice spec.

I will chip in with what’s on my 9month old S ( when purchased) that at the time I wouldn’t have specified new.

18 WAY SEATS
I was concerned about the high sides but there not that bad and the extra adjustment is nice. Standard Memory is very useful.
SPEED LIMITS INDICATER
Wouldn’t have considered this but have found very useful and would spec again.
GT STEERING WHEEL - HEATED
As mentioned by P/P it’s a lovely wheel and heating a good addition for winter.
SIDE BLADE DECAL
Mine has the above in Red which is fine as it matches brake calipers. I do like silver tho….
Looking forward to seeing your final spec👍

Perhaps someone with the 8-way seats could tell me if they at least have manual lumbar adjustment?

They do not.

That's unfortunate, definitely makes the 18way more desirable.

I’m leaning more towards this now https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRTA7KW9

Added the extended leather, adaptive and removed heated windscreen and blind spot warning. Can live without those options and helps keep the overall price down.

Looks brill. I had carbon interior but wish I had saved the cash and just stuck with the gloss black.
In the GTS you get a bespoke black aluminium finish as standard - do yourself a favour and save nearly £700 - otherwise, perfect 👍

The salesman said the default brushed black aluminium tends to pick up scratches really easily and the carbon is way more durable, could be bs but metal finishes do tend to get marked.

I guess actual real experience from anyone who has it would be helpful.
