Even with that, EU7 won't affect when Porsche decide to end ICE Macan production, as even if EU7 is implemented as proposed in July 2025, it only relates to cars being type approved after that date, not cars being sold.
As we know the Gen III Macan is the last iteration of the ICE Macan design, Porsche could in theory continue to build it for as long as they wanted to (within factory production logistics reasons) without being impacted by EU7, as long as they don't make any changes that require type approval.

Obviously they are not going to build it forever, but they could likely build it to end of MY25 (summer of 2026) without being impacted by EU7. That would allow at least just over a full year of Macan EV production alongside to allow them to see what is happening sales wise.

I doubt they would extend ICE Macan Gen III production alongside EV for longer than that, unless demand was still very high.

On previous EU changes, was there not a date when new models have to follow it followed by a later when all sales have to apply. I cannot see EU 7, if it occurs, being different

So you had one too then! Mine was the darker cow pat colour, much worse :D
Nope, I never stooped as low as owing an Austin Aggro.

But I have to confess to owning a Marina 1.8TC Coupe for 6 months.......(but it was a fetching dark metallic bluey purple colour though  )
The Allegro got/gets a lot of stick mainly, I think, because it was different but it wasn't any worse than most of the car's of that era. I didn't have mine long but that was just because I came by the means to buy a nice new Volvo 343 (they got some stick to on account of their DAF derived CVT gearbox, again different!).

My mate had a Marina TC too but not a coupe. It wasn't a bad car to be fair. His was 'Citron' which was like a yellowy lime colour which was better than it sounds LOL

Isn't that what Forums are all about, other people's opinions/suggestions? Probably not relevant for ex-Macan owners with Canary yellow cars😁
