Get the Macan DeLuxe bumper guard, here: https://www.boot-buddy.com/bumper-guards/

We had one in our X1 for 7 years, no wear at all. It concertinas up so it doesn't flop about. Just bought a new one for the Macan.

Comes with a self-adhesive velcro strip to stick on to the low lipped plastic Porsche liner (the high lipped one covers the r/h boot cubby - you have to remove it to lower the seats too) and the bumper guard's velcro fits to this.

We tried a Titan one years ago but it was expensive and didn't last very long.

Porsche also do a fitted carpet mat with bumper guard (floppy, non-concertina type) attached (again by velcro). Our OPC supplied this FOC but it gets wet so we removed it in favour of the low lip plastic liner (also supplied FOC).

I have a Gen 2 GTS which has the 2.9L engine in the same state of tune as the Gen 3 S. It came with Sports Exhaust as standard and I specified Sports Chrono. I've experimentally turned SE on once or twice but I don't know how different the exhaust sounds in normal running compared to what will be standard on the S.

On start up from cold, the engine runs at 1500rev/m for around 30S and sounds fantastic. When you press heavily on the loud pedal the flaps open and there is a beautiful scream. Would I have paid £1800 no. However, having had the system, if I were ever to trade the car in for a Gen 3 S (very unlikely) I might well spend the money rather than be disappointed with the sound.

I've only used SC for the 20S boost. If an unexpected overtaking opportunity comes up I just stamp on the accelerator. OK the suspension doesn't stiffen up but the gearbox drop 2-3 gears and the car takes off like the proverbial bat out of hell.

You've opted for 14 way seats so the seat fronts will be leather. £1200 gets the dashboard top and the door cards in leather and £2472 gets the full "ball of wax". IMHO, leather looks great but only you know how much you're willing to spend.

Good luck with your choices.
Peter

Also, just bought one of these dog steps for our two Cockapoos...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196028757570

Exactly the right height for the boot opening and they took to it immediately. Just working out how to store it in the boot, with the dogs, or on the back seat.

Extend bumper flap first, then padded struts of steps rest on/against the flap.

Low lip flexible liner...

Add carpet mat with velcro for bumper flap (supplied but removed in favour of Boot-Buddy flap). Bumper flap shown concertina'd up...
(mat cut-outs are for load anchors)

The Porsche carpet mat has a velcro strip for its, or the Boot-Buddy, flap. Boot-Buddy shown...

Steps, as per eBay link above...

We cover the carpet mat with a thin dog load cushion, Vet fleece, topped by microfibre. I'm going to attach the bumper flap direct to the flexible boot liner with its supplied self adhesive strip as the Porsche carpet mat ( to be removed) still gets wet around the edges the dogs have had a dip in the stream to clean off at the end of their walk...

The 18” spare is all you need. The rubber mats are extra and worth it. For the dog check out titancovers.co.uk far more protection than a boot liner and comfortable too.

Thanks for the pics, think that’s made my mind up on the handles. Makes it stand out the from the other crayon Macans around

My beagle is a bit broken. She loves a ride in the car and will just sit and look out the window.

Great little set up for the dogs. The mats look spot on to what I need, potentially with a full liner in the boot to stop the bloody dog hairs

I used this which comes in separate pieces to fit precisely and is Taylor’s for the Macan. The crease you can see has gone now (it was new out the box).
Worked really well and can fold seats etc - still have it if anyone wants it, collection only.

Should have said, I’m close to Derby. I have a shallow version boot liner too, also available
Not looking for payment, just garage space!
