I see many people specifying smoker pack so can anyone please explain what is the advantage of this? I assume most of us will not want to smoke inside their Macan.

Covers up a hole that to some looks ugly - I went with the smokers pack and aesthetically imo it improves it, but i know some like to leave it for convenient storage!

^^^ this

... although it's a shame the ash tray bit isn't fully removable to make more use of storage like on some other cars. I actually think I wouldn't spec it next time. There's not a lot of storage for small stuff in a Macan.

Just make sure you order at configure not like me. I was a late arrival to this forum and didn't understand why so many people were going for it. I am now one of those people but getting it done on tequipment at OPC when it is delivered ready for collection. The difference.... Configure cost £38. Tequipment cost a sickening £199. Oh and also the SD mirrors I missed as SA at Leeds said they didn't have power fold operation on, after lock down I found out they do... Configure cost £315. Tequipment cost £537.91... Yes I am also having the SD mirrors... yMatty Macan2015-10-20 07:47:04

Thanks for the information guys. I think I will just leave mine as it is, that is without the smoker pack.

I know it covers the hole etc., but it's not something I want either.

I was initially anti the smoker pack. But after having looked at with/without, it looks much neater (particularly at the back) so we have included it.

How does the smoker pack look in the back? Is there an exposed lighter or is it covered?
