Currently i have my Blue Turbo and wifey has 14 plate Golf GTI.

Obviously she likes mine and went on a test drive in a Diesel S, (its the quality not the speed she likes!)

The question is two Macans on the drive???

and is it worth it for a second car that's only going to have annual mileage of 6K??

your unbiased (obviously) opinions are welcome.

Probably get shot down.....but we (well, nearly) have a Macan GTS and a BMW 428 convertible. The 4 series is the wife's, she does a similar 6000 miles per annum and its great for summer roof down stuff with very acceptable petformance and 4 real seats.
The Macan is (and the diesel was) mine and is our winter longer rin with luggage type car.
We both drive both cars and have the best of both worlds
1st Sapphire SD
2nd Sapphire GTS

Nothing wrong with a 'his and hers' pair of Macans on the drive in my view!! Smile
I have a 911 and have suggested a Macan to my girlfriend as her next car (as she keeps going on about what a brilliant car the Macan is/was compared to my 'toy car' 911!!!!!!?) Ouch
A two Porsche household is a wonderful thing, in my view... Cool
And a blue Turbo, plus a non-blue SD would be a good pairing too methinks...

Sounds good to me, 2 Porsche SUVs on the drive happened to us a couple of weeks ago. But a warning if your Wife's mileage is 6K now when she gets the SD she will be finding excuses to go here there and everywhere. I've had to have a serious chat to my Wife about writing shopping lists as driving to the supermarket for Milk and doing the same trip later for bread doesn't wash. Joking about the shopping but she does seem to be taking her Mother on distant shopping trips more often since she got the Macan keys and the fuel consumption has gone down since her PEC session a few weeks ago.

Plus you will have a choice of dirty car just cleaned car to go out in on rainy days....

Wife was thinking Carrera White and gloss black grills and details, so no colour clash for me to worry about!

As far as a 911 for our / my other car , I would love to but job and kids dictate a "practical" car. For now at least!

Well if I'm at work, and wife's collecting kids etc the answer is two.

If you've got the cash - why not??!!
For me though, if you have, then I'd go for a different 2 porsche option!
Macan for the sensibleness, maybe Cayman or 911 for hid? - best of both worlds, and you can swap as much as u like!
