I have GTS coming soon:- http://www.porsche-code.com/ PJQAIIE9
It's basically a low/med spec car, in Rodium Silver with full black leather.
I was looking to personalise the car a little, without going too mad on extras - but just wondered come resale, if Garnet Red instrument dials would put anyone off ? Opinions welcomed.

I don't like the standard grey dials. For me they were the only unappealing part of the car's interior. I've the pebble interior so went for white. White also looks good in a black interior. One of the Macans I test drove had black leather with white dials and it looked very stylish.

If I had gone for the GTS with the black interior and red stitching I would certainly have gone for red dials.

However having red dials with no other red makes it look a bit out of place. It may be better if you spec both red dials and red seat belts to get a theme.

Not checked, but isn't the centre dial red anyway? (Or do you need to have the GTS intetior too for that?)
How about red seat belts?

Another vote for white dials. I have them & pleased with the result - distinctive and individual, but I doubt that anyone would dislike them.

Had Garnet Red dials on Macan 2, waste of money in my opinion as I could never see them in so much as the red rarely showed, white dials on Macan 3 different story , if you want coloured dials go white in my opinion

+1. I drove a Boxster loaner with red dials, but in most conditions, they just looked black

Value for money ? No

Essential option ? definitely not

Resale value ? Nil

But I have red dials, red sports chrono, red seat belts and a completely worthless aluminium gear stick

And they make me happy SmileTongueWinkBig smileLOL

Go with whatever makes you happy.................

Garnet dials for me would not put me off.

Had them on my SD but would not specify them again as they are a far darker red than I expected, more like Carmine Red with a years grunge on it.

Garnet seat belts are great but the dial just do not colour match.

Like I said it would not be a deal breaker
