All sorted now, charge has been wavered ðŸ˜ Appears to be a Stratstone only charge for new cars apparently as already stated. Needs stopping by Porsche in my opinion.

Looking forward to 2.30pm on Friday now ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Car connect was made live last Friday and been closely monitoring any movement of the car

Had a email today from Vodafone trying to sell the tracking/safety options and what it provides and then a phone call. Very keen to get you signed up

Agreed! How on earth did they justify the charge, that they then removed at the drop of a hat...?!

No justification actually except stated they add this charge to all new cars at Stratstones

I did point out no other OPC makes this charge and I wasn't made aware until I saw the invoice. This may have been the reason it was waivered ?

I suppose it's not the SE's fault if someone higher up decides to rip off their customers.

Chairman' s Pension Pot. .!! Stratstone (part of Pendragon) must sell tens of thousands of new and used cars annually....how many people question / query the charge and get it removed (if they notice it in the first place!?)Paul2017-05-16 20:02:10

Agree not the SE's fault, but bl00dy disgraceful behaviour from the OPC.

I think it's what's called sharp practice and it's this sort of thing that gives the car industry a bad name sadly
