...especially from a FTSE company (or maybe because it's a FTSE company? )
I also recall one or other if the used car supermarkets used to charge customers around £75 for an HPI check "for the customer's protection"!!! Probably one of the Evans Halshaw ones.......hey wait a moment, they're Pendragon too!

Sorry Arif.
Stratstone suck.
My Jag was bought from a different dealer then Stratstone took them over.
Quality of Service took a nose dive.
As for Sales, the Q word was nowhere to be found.
Wilmslow (same group) could not have cared less about selling me a Macan.
Bolton were, well not on a par with Chester or Kendal for quality of sales experience, but then Bolton did mess me about badly with the test drive and I belive he was the same SE you use.
Best I can say is that Bolton were on a different planet compared to Wilmslow.

That's what sticks in my throat, even though I don't agree they are making this unnecessary charge they also seem to be picking and choosing from their customers who they feel should pay it
Totally unfair. Has soured the buying experience a bit now when so far had been very good and built up a good relationship with the se.Coley40 2017-05-16 23:03:16

I wouldn't worry about it. This is just a salesman / dealer trying it on.
There have been others that have done similar and added various other options like GAP etc to the invoice.
And I have seen this from multiple car manufacturers but as always I double check everything. I take no offence and it's a shame but so many industry's are the same unfortunately.
Enjoy the pickup and the drive home.
