I was wondering what the normal or acceptable mileage to expect on collection?

Cheers

Every car that comes off the production line at Leipzig (that's 650/day) is driven at least 12k on their test track, to check for faults, rattles and functionality, more if required after faults are fixed. They all go up to 120 kph as well. So well thrashed before we get them. That's what we were told, and it would mean a car every few minutes, but in my half day there, didn't see many new cars out there.Bigboyrolo2017-05-12 22:03:50

Cheers everyone, normal seems to be anything from 9 to 20 miles.

When I checked once the app became live it had 6 miles so may have skimped on the test track ? Then 5 miles added for the petrol and pdc. At least I know it will have a full tank

Indicating 480 mile rang [ and 21 mpg

Just hope the car is perfect on collection

Has anyone had any issues on collection with damage or imperfections? (Sorry should I check if there's another thread on this question Coley402017-05-12 23:03:42

I complained, SE was sympathetic but it's their policy. I will look to get my next one elsewhere on a point of principle

It's a real shame when a car dealer can't spend another £30 odd to fill the tank up.
For me it's the little things that make the difference.

Only had about 20 miles ish on collection and a full tank.

I couldn't agree more 2japs. Petty stuff like that that really pisses me off. Mine came full from Hatfield OPC, just like it should. I'd let them know that was the reason for going elsewhere, sooner or later word will reach the powers that be.

On a 60k average price, 30 quid is really penny pinching.

I couldn't agree more. The experience makes all the difference. That's where my local OPC fell flat.

In answer to the question, our Macan was in excellent condition when delivered and as far as we know all options were fitted as ordered.Macandriver2017-05-13 08:55:30

Agree. I know it sounds daft but I would book an overnight stay with the wife to collect the car from a different OPC and treat it as part of the experience and use part of the full tank driving home!
