I did (or a bit less pre price rise) and very pleased I did. In my previous Macan I didn't and wasn't concerned about the visual mismatch between the dash and the doors (as some on the forum are), however the full leather is a tactile delight, especially around the centre console area, as well as looking great.

At the end of the day it's another grand or so and we all have to draw a line somewhere. Best advice is to see if your OPC has a car with and without and see for yourself - that's what persuaded me in the end.

I concur that half-arsed leather is a bit jarring on the doors. I upgraded on my second Macan.

I'd be happy if it was different materials though as I'm not that bothered about leather itself.

SC is one of those things you should try before deciding. Do note that you can add Sport+ as a dealer fit option afterwards (without the dashboard clock) for a little less money.

Re partial leather I'm having that on the turbo (standard) and while I agree it's not ideal to have plastic door caps, it also doesn't look horrendous in black and we too had to stop somewhere.

You get (the potential for) sharper shifts, more track-oriented auto shifting (not so good on the road), telemetry recording/mapping and a nice[1] clock on the dashboard.

I like the clock 8-)

Partial leather or full?

It all depends upon what you want as the colour.

All black then yes full leather.

White or Garnet or Black exterior would look great with a garnet interior but full garnet is a lot of red, whereas partial imho works better but you do have black plastic. I have partial and I simply do not notice the black plastic.

Same applies to other non black partial interiors

So the Black Leather Interior Upgrade @ £1154.00 is definitely one to have on the car or I end up having lots of plastic mixed with leather!

I will try to see a car without, but all the demo cars I've seen have the Full Leather option so struggling to see a basic car. Hopefully I will see a few at PEC.

I paid extra for full leather and don't regret it at all. Remember that you'll spend more time in the cockpit than standing beside the car staring at it, so your experience and comfort inside the car is, in my opinion, the most important aspect of it. A full leather cockpit is a nice place to be. Interior light pack is also nice. As for LED vs Xenons, I can only speak for Xenons as I've never seen LEDs in action, but do regularly drive on unlit country roads and find the Xenons to be excellent.

Just had a look at your spec.

I am not a lover at all of the basic 8 way seats and the one GTS that I sat in with 8 way seats did give better support but I would never buy any car without fully adjustable seats, back trouble on my own part demands adjustable lumber support which the 8 way seats do not have.

Nor do 8 way have the adjustable squab length that the 14/18 way have.

If you are not intending to upgrade the seats do have a long test drive in a GTS with 8 way just to make sure that they are OK for you.

Many members here have 8 way and find them OK, but that is them and not you.
