Hi guys,

My GTS arrived into the UK from Emden, on either Friday 2nd or Saturday 3rd June.
It now has to travel to Scotland first - for OPC prep - then has to be delivered down to me in the Midlands.
I have been told that I should have it w/c 19th June.

That seems pretty slow to me - so before I have a little moan - what does anyone else think should be reasonable delivery period based on this information - or am I just being a tad impatient ?

Kind regards.

I think it will be another case of them being a bit pessimistic with the times, hopefully you'll get a call before the 19th. They don't seem to like committing to dates because the road transport part of the system is out of their hands.

Personally I would be a little patient and have it 100%.
They certainly want your money in their bank ASAP so I see no reason for them to delay.
should be very exciting in the next week or so.

A couple of weeks doesn't seem excessive; it'll be 2 or 3 days with UK transport so it won't be in the dealership until the end of this week at the earliest. PDI during next week and the organising transport back down accross the border - you might just see it at the end of next week...... impatience is not unusual when waiting for a Macan!๐Ÿ˜‰

Why not go to the supplying OPC and collect it yourself? That might speed things up a bit.

Is it Glasgow?

They are always very conservative as they would rather over deliver on expectations.

They actually offer pretty good customer service IMHO

Do you know when the build date was?

Build takes 3 days max

Factory to OPC 7-30 days.

Average is 20 days so it looks like yours will be a few days longer than average.

Its well worth the wait.

Mine arrived at OPC late Tues, PDI on Wed, collected Thurs.
